Today the judges from Northumbria in Bloom came to assess the Trust’s entry in the ‘village’ category. 25% of the total score is awarded at this visit. They walked around most of the Conservation Area, the area entered in the competition.

Living in Australia I find it pretty cool reading and looking at pictures of the village it has changed a lot since I was a young one when I used to go to my grandmas and granddads for the weekend. but what I do find with the site there is not enough pictures of the river and in my opinion this is the history of Shotley Bridge and pictures would be fantastic.. keep up the good work…..
