Tidy Up half complete

This morning, 6 volunteers braved the rain to help tidy up the village centre, in readiness for judging. Weeds were removed, tarmac swept clean and litter picked up.

The Britain in Bloom Neighbourhood Awards judging is expected during the next 3 weeks.

Another 2 hour session will be held at 10.00 am on Sunday, tomorrow morning, to finish the work.

Enjoyed helping to tidy up the village on Saturday. What little we got done really made a difference in making the village more attractive.
Wont be turning out to help on Sunday though, still drying out, but will do some work on Snows Green Road next week end.
