The six baskets on the railings leading down to the bridge have been planted with winter bedding by Durham County Council.
The barrier baskets have been purchased by the Village Trust, as part of the Britain in Bloom Initiative.

Had a quick check on my three tubs this afternoon, and after picking out the drink cans and cigarette ends and then dead heading the pansies it was good to see the daffs starting to shoot.
