Shotley Bridge Village Trust

Shotley Low Quarter Parish Council are organising their “Annual Litter Pick” on Saturday 14^th April, starting at 9.30 a.m. from St John’s Parish Hall.  They “trawl” the main B6278 through Snods Edge and the local roads leading off this main road.

All equipment such as pickers, hi-viz tabards, gloves & bags etc. are supplied (and usually a cup of something!).   (All the rubbish bags are collected by a trailer, brought to the Hall, and then Northumberland County Council collect & remove the the next working day).

It is a worthwhile event to help keep the local countryside free of litter.  If you can spare a couple of hours you will be welcome.
