Today, ‘Blooming Shotley Bridge’ were presented with a ‘Silver’ award in the village category of the 2012 Northumbria in Bloom competition.

I think a Silver award is a terriffic achievment concidering the judging took place just days after the village was left in a right old mess after the flash flood in June.
