Shotley Bridge Village Trust

Following discussions at the last three Village Trust Open Meetings, Durham County Council are holding a wider Consultation Event on Tuesday 10^th September 2013 at the King’s Head Social Club between 3 and 7pm.

This ‘Drop In’ event is in relation to the Section 106 funding which has been allocated for urban realm improvements in the village centre following the redevelopment of the former Shotley Bridge Hospital site.

Designs of 5 proposed environmental improvement schemes will be on display, chosen by the Council from a list of 17  identified by the Trust.  Jackie Donnelly and Dawn Reed from the Economic Development Team will be in attendance at the event on behalf of Durham County Council.

The schemes will also be on display in the Village Trust gazebo at the Shotley Spa Fun Day on bank holiday Monday.
