Switch on time

The village Christmas tree has been ‘planted’ and wired up by the County Council in readiness for lighting up on 5th December, this Saturday. Thanks to our local councillors for providing funding again.

Shotley Bridge Primary School choir will be there to sing carols at 4.30pm, followed by the lighting of the tree.

Everyone is welcome to join in.

    I just wish we were there to see it.

    We had a lovely time visiting Shotley Bridge.

    Walking around the village trying to take in the nostalja of this
    picturesque village in the Autumn, tracing where my Grandmother
    lived as a young girl in the spencer Girls Training School. what a beautiful village to live in.
