Google Maps – Street View

Did you know that in Google Maps you can not only see a street map, satellite image and terrain of Shotley Bridge but also photographs of where you live in Street View.

Just 'view larger map' then click on the little orange figure above the scale slider and move him/her over the place you want to look at. If you release the figure you can rotate the image and move along the street.

Streetview also provides an opportunity to promote the village by adding your own (nice) pictures. This could be a great help for the village in bloom competition where we could collect views of the best contributions. When economic times are hard, all these sorts of things can help to support local businesses!
