I saw members of the Village Trust when I drove through Shotley Bridge this morning. Thank you for all your hard work. Thank you also to the members who volunteered to clear the section of weeds near the Village Hall. I will look forward to enjoying the wild flower meadow when the seeds grow. The gentleman who organised this event was there for ages after other volunteers left. He desrves a special mention. Unfortunately I do not know his name.
Well done to all involved. Great job but it is a shame Durham County Council don’t provide a road cleaner/sweeper in this area, we pay enough rates to justify it.
