Shotley Bridge Directory

January 7, 2010

The funding application to Durham county Council’s ‘Grants for Groups’ for the new leaflet was successful and the Shotley Bridge Directory was published last month. The full grant of £1200, administered by the Derwentside CVS & Volunteer Bureaux, has paid for the design and printing. It is intended to use the advertising revenue from local businesses to produce an updated reprint for next year.

The Directory provides information on community facilities, clubs and groups in the village and at Snods Edge.  It also includes a map of the area together with information about the history of the village and the Village Trust.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the singing, which was led by Martin Jackson, Vicar of St Cuthbert’s parish.
