At the end of the summer term this year, pupils in year 5 at Shotley Bridge Junior School worked on a project dealing with ‘good dog ownership’.
The Benfieldside, Blackhill, Bridgehill and Shotley Bridge Partnership has now published an Environmental Awareness leaflet containing their work and that of pupils from Benfieldside and Blackhill St Mary’s Primary School.
All pupils at these schools have received a copy and it is also available to pick up from community venues.
If you would like to look at the leaflet you can download a copy [but please read the pages in numerical order].
A reporter and photographer from Newsquest were in the village this morning gathering information and taking photos for a newspaper article about the forthcoming Victorian Spectacular on Saturday 27th November, in support of Willow Burn.
Do you recognise the Town Crier and Fagan?

Throughout the day, there is an entertaining programme of events, in the village and at the square, culminating with the lighting of the Christmas Tree by Santa at 4.30pm.
